Software I designed and built myself. Each one started as a small daily annoyance — a messy desktop, a mouse that could do more — and ended up as a tool I now use every day. Both are free to download.

ZTABLE

Desktop Organizer · Windows

Tidy a cluttered desktop into clean, foldable fences.

Platform
Windows 10 (1903+) / Windows 11 · x64
Version
v1.0.1
Released
2026-10

ZTABLE is a desktop organizer for Windows, inspired by Fences. Drag a translucent marquee on the desktop to group icons into fences — apps, documents, images, downloads, projects — and let rules sort new shortcuts and downloads automatically. By default files stay exactly where they are on the desktop; only their icons are tucked away, and a separate watchdog process restores everything on exit, crash or uninstall. It runs fully offline and never uploads any data.

What it does

  • Fences: drag a marquee to group desktop icons
  • Auto-sort rules by file type, name keyword or modified time
  • Folder portals: mirror Downloads, Documents, OneDrive or any folder as a fence
  • Quick hide and roll-up: double-click the desktop or a fence title
  • Peek: Win+Space raises every fence above other windows
  • Full styling — colour, opacity, corners, light/dark — per display, 4K and high-DPI aware

Mopad

Gesture Utility · macOS

Trackpad gestures for your Magic Mouse.

Platform
macOS 14+ · Apple silicon · Magic Mouse
Version
v0.1.0
Released
2026-10-29

The whole top of a Magic Mouse is a multi-touch surface, yet macOS only lets it scroll and swipe. Mopad brings the trackpad gestures already in your muscle memory — tap, secondary click, pinch and zoom — to the Magic Mouse. It reads touch points from the mouse surface at about 90 Hz, recognises gestures frame by frame, and uses a set of anti-mistouch rules to tell a deliberate tap from a resting, pressing or sliding finger. It lives in the menu bar and is completely free.

What it does

  • One-finger tap to click, double-tap to double-click
  • Three-finger tap for secondary click (right-click)
  • Three-finger pinch opens Launchpad — or Mission Control, Spotlight, Show Desktop
  • Two-finger pinch and spread for smooth zoom
  • Built-in Mouse settings, synced both ways with System Settings
  • Anti-mistouch: only quick taps count; scrolling, zooming and physical clicks are filtered out
